The Buttars: American Fork Canyon

So Heidi came for a visit this weekend (yay!) and we went on drive today on the Mt. Timpanogos highway up through American Fork Canyon. The fall colors were out and it was so amazing! Usually when we go on drives in the fall it is all yellow, but this drive was filled with red everywhere! I have never seen so much red in concentrated areas and in so many different colors, so beautiful!! At the end of the road there was a little parking lot with a trail up to Cascade Srpings. It is a really pretty spring that comes flowing down the hill in little shelf pools. It was just a day filled with beautiful things! Plus we got to go to breakfast with mom and dad on their way back to Boise from the trip. It was a nice little visit to hold me over til Halloween when we get to do a weekend!
